i have 20k cases of 45 auto but its reallly dirty and some has green crap on it, can i clean and use these or are they dumpster stuff?

the really dirty stuff should be ok...but the green is a bad sight, corrosion tends to weaken the cases.

i have seen this stuff called "black beauty" that will make them "ok" to use if tumbled in it is this smoke up my rear or what?

With current scrap prices for brass hovering at $1.65 a pound, I would certainly not consider the dumpster for any brass whatsoever. If the stuff is too messed up to use, then sell it for scrap and use the income to buy some really good brass from Scharch, www.scharch.com.

Expended primers are brass, too, with the exception of shotgun primers. You'd be surprised at how quickly they add up when you save them in a coffee can. I used to get about $30.00 for less than a can full, but that's up to over $75.00 now.

Black Beauty is a blasting abrasive...Used to blast ships hulls and other badly encrusted metals...If your cases are THAT "durrrrrty" I would concider scrap yard...
