Well, I'd like to say "24/7, everywhere legal", but I don't have a piece while showering and I usually place the pistol on my desk while sleeping (but I have a rifle by the bed ... so that's okay, right?). I've also been known to walk around the house in boxers without a handgun.

So I'll have to go with 90% of the time, I guess.

Well I guess I was thinking carry only matters outside of the house.

I carry wherever I am legally able to do so. Unfortunately, this leaves me unable to carry in a good many places such as at work, church, restaurants, kid's school and athletic events, etc. :(

I don't carry when I go to the pool in my apartment complex. Sometimes I'll go forth unarmed just because I can. Other times I'll carry where it's frowned upon. Depends.

Glamdring, does it count when the poll respondents mean, "Well, I keep one in my car?" Or did you intend to specify "on-body" carry?

I have some handgun on my person anytime I'm outside my home, except for perhaps an hour a day. I have to disarm before entering the jail. :p

I would have to say less than 25% of the time. I work on a college campus so that's out. Also, the town I live in is very safe and I really don't feel the need to carry much. I ALWAYS carry when I leave town and re-enter the "real" world. :D

Seeing as how work is a no carry place and I spend at least 25% or more at work it sorta cuts down on how much I carry.

Johnny Guest: I would say off body counts as long as it is within reach. So if you could reach it in the car, then when your in the car I would count it as carrying.

Stainless Bauer (Baby Browning clone) 25 at work. AMT BackUP 380 in front pocket and 1911 in daytimer out in the real world-grocery store,theater, etc.. And a bailout bag with a SIG 226 and 5 loaded mags
in case a neighbor needs assistance. Probably never need any of them and that would be fine with me, No more adrenalin jitters. Happy trails.

The only places I don't carry are when I am actually in the shower (though there is one right outside the shower), on board an airplane, and anytime I have to go into a place with metal detectors (the courthouse is the only place this has caused a problem).
