to get back into reloading 45 ACP and 9MM

I was buying WWB at wally world, but at $65 per 250 rounds of big yellow box stuff(45) I guess ill reload.

I can get Rainier lead safe RN 230 Gr 45 bullets for $81/1000, and powder is cheap too...Looks like I can still reload for $8 bux a box or so...

Ill buy a Lee Loadmaster in 45, and when Im needing 9MM but another one in 9MM..;)

Thats my story and Im sticking to it,lol.

Aah...And...Oh shoot (sh*t with two "O"s). And I'm stuck with a 1998 Chevy Silverado extended cab 4X4. I probably have the same A/C as you do though...

$13 per 50 is a problem? That's cheap for commercial ammo.

Me, I'm pulling together the various bits and trinkets in order to cast.

you should come in under 8. even if you pay 25 per k for primers, it'll still be 6.60 before powder. probably closer to 7 bucks a box. not a big difference, but if your a volume shooter every bit helps.

Yeah, I'm cheap when it comes to pistol Ammo..I handload for my rifle, and theres alot of savings there too, but primary goal there is tweeking the rounds to work the way I want..;)

have you considered shooting lead? that can free up a lot more savings too. If you have a restraint like a poorly vented indoor range or something i understand your reservations, but it is definitely a good way to be more frugal.

I have in the past quite a bit...Al's Bullets is local to me, but I think he is ramping down now(getting old)...

Thin jacketed bullets are good for me, although I wont rule out lead

(for my 9mm, ill need jacketed, as I shoot P7M8)

they are backlogged right now, but i can say i've used their product and it is top notch. i used to get NBC before i started casting but they had a lot of drama. its a shame they made a good bullet. are supposed to be very good, but i've never purchased from them. I hear they have problems with back orders as well.

meister makes a good bullet too. and as they are pretty large i bet they don't have backlogging issues. however as i look at meister's prices, you could do better buying plated.

bearcreek run 58 per k, order 70 dollars or more and its free shipping.

i'm sure other places are cheaper, but here are just a few suggestions.

penn will get you a k of 200gr LSWC for 52 before shipping

and hi-tech will get you for 58 dollars for the same

i've worked with hi-tech ammo and can't say enough good things about them as a company.
