Starting to load for .45 acp. Gonna be using titegroup and .230 FMJ round nose.
The Hodgdon site shows a load of 4.4 starting to 4.8 max.
Is that narrow of a window normal? I guess it kinda makes sense since we are talking such a small amount of powder in the first place.
What say you guys?

With a small case and a small powder volume I wouldn't expect much of a spread in powder weights. That's one of the disadvantages of Tightgroup. Another is that it would be all too easy not to notice a double powder charge.
