Hey came across a Remington 870 Super mag.It is full Camo Realtree Hardwoods. It is MINT,I see no scratches at all! well say 97 percent because no box.If shot can't tell it.
The 300.00 includes the sales tax.
Anyone have one like this? Not sure the age, plan to call Remington tomorrow to verify.
Wonder if Remington stands behind their warrenty to a 2nd owner? Especially if the gun is like new condition.
Appreciate the help!

I'm looking for another waterfowl gun. If I had the chance I would get it.

I just found out some more information from Remington.Based on the serial number it was a gun made for Walmart and is a turkey gun.It is a 2005 year model.I asked was the quality and different for Walmart he said NO.I guess this is why for the Realtree hardwoods camo.About all Remington line is Mossey Oak.I am not sure to get it or not.It really looks like a new 2007 out of the box!
Thanks for all the information.other input welcome!

If you want a SuperMag in forest camo, it'll save you some money.

Note that Remington is offering $30 rebates on all Express models right now. Still, I think you'd be out an extra hundred bucks at least, over this used gun. I'd buy it.

ArmedBear,

Thanks for the input and offer.
I guess it isn't that bad a deal.I just want to figure out when to go turkey hunting and is it much good for anything else?

Thanks again!

I've seen that gun in Walmarts. If you can find one still in stock I think that is about the same price as a new one. Of course if it is in great shape it would probably be easier to take that one.

Good for lots of things....

While blast with waterfowl loads will be accentuated with the shorter barrel, it'll work for that.

For defense, it's a short barreled, fast handling 870.

For the uplands, it's a trifle heavier than most upland guns, but it'll work.

For casual clays, a nice handling shotgun.

I'd add a couple choke tubes, a small trainload of ammo, and have at it.

If I could have JUST ONE 870 (Oh, the horror!), it'd look a lot like that one...

With all considerations and double checking it is a 26 inch barrell,I got it!It came out just under 300.00 including tax.I figured what the heck, looked fantastic, found out it had been shot less than a half box of shells.
Thanks for all the input, greatly appreciate it!!

Do you have a cabelas near by? I ask only because in the current cabelas flier, the 870 Express super Mag in "Mossy oak shadow grass" Camo with the R3 recoil pad (which i highly recomend) and the fiber optic front sight (wich i would LOVE to get for my 870 express) is listed at $369.99 after rebate. brand new. I know it's a little more, with a little different camo finish, but something to consider.

The full camo ones retail for a ton more money (in my area), I looked at them for a "do everything gun" I hunt ducks, geese, pheasant, quail, turkey, clay pigeons, etc. I bought a wood stocked one, planning to add a synthetic stock later. My gun store said they could order a wood stock with 26 or 28" tubes, or the black synthetic with a 26" only, and I wanted a 28".
The 26" barrel will work for everything though. My only complaint is the cheap Remington wood swells in the rain, now the wood doesn't fit the gun anymore. Aside from that, I love my 870 Super Mag.
