I used to work at a shop restoring these. This one happens to my particular favorite of the type. I lost the job when the shop closed due to Kaliforny's small-business-unfriendly business climate. Stupid state.

And it is TOO gun-related. Woodies are more properly known as "Shooting Brakes", used for chaffeuring your upper-crust types to and from the hunting fields on one's country estate.

So THERE. :neener:

Woodies: the only things that combine wood and metal as artistically as guns.

Hand_Rifle_Guy: Niiiiiice.

Shooting Brakes are also the term in England for any Station Wagon.
Man... the old cars had so much style and character. Car these days have no soul. I think they lost it early 70's with only a few exceptions. But the cars of the 50's I think were at the pinicle.
