So a couple weeks ago I posted about a guy in my office who indicated he had a Rem 1100 that he might sell me. Only he does not know a price -
I asked him to get the serial and model #- So maybe one of you experts out there can give me and idea of how much this is worth and what I should offer him-
It is the Rem 1100 Serial 160967V, and has Skeet followed by WLMZ stamped on the barrel. I am assuming this is the skeet model- but other then that how old- what price?
Thanks

If you call Remington with the serrial number at 1-800-243-9700 they'll teel you the age, but it matters little. All skeet 1100s hold up well.
More important is use. Skeet guns get shot lots. This may need some parts and TLC, or it may be near new.
Best guess, $400-500 in top shape.

well I have found out is a 1965 Skeet model. It looked like there was two types of Skeet versions made but I am not sure which it is. I was told that is is in great shape, this guy has not even shot 100 rounds in it in 20 years, and he bought it off an old man in NC so I think I would be the 3rd owner ever....
I am going to go take a look at at this and see if I can't work a deal
