[Redneck with a 40]

Today I went out and fired my 30 carbine with the Wolf FMJ that I recieved yesterday. My previous inquiry regarding the quality of the Universal Carbine came back with mixed reviews, some said it was a pretty good little carbine, others said it was junk. Well today I fired 50 rounds of the Wolf FMJ through the carbine with no failures, I bought two used G.I spec magazines at the gun show, they fed 100%.:D I like the way this carbine handles and shoots, I like it.:D If the Universals are a crap shoot, it looks like I got a good one! This thing likes the Wolf ammo, eats it up.:D

Looks like my $300 carbine will be alright after all.:D

Awesome! My dad has a Universal that has always run flawlessly. Good to hear the Wolf worked for you as well; I have been skeptical of it after reading about somewhat poor performance on The Box O' Truth.

I chrono'd a few rounds of this stuff, its pushing right around 1850 fps. Also, I did have a couple of casings hit me in the forehead, lol, no big deal though. For the money, its great plinking ammo and fairly accurate.:D
