There's not a whole lot of reloading info for 45 Colt loads to be shot out of a rifle out there. My Lyman manual has a 45 Colt section with rifle loads but they're all loads that meet SAAMI 45 Colt specs which for a Win 94 is about 1/2 of what they could be.

I'm thinking HS-6 or AA#7 would be a reasonable powder to use but cannot find a starting point for a 250 gr RNFP lead bullet.

Any suggestions?

the sixgunner.com website used to have loads specifically for rifles. Haven't been there in years.

Ruger Blackhawk loads are accepted rifle loads. They can be found.
