The S & W 325PD in .45 ACP with the Scandium frame -
Anybody know what the cylinder is made of, Ti? Would some
+P from CorBon or another manufacturer stress it?

26.5 oz is a nice feature as the .45 ACP/ AR doesn't kick
much.

The 325PD is fine with factory +P ammo. A quick call to S&W will confirm.

The cylinder is Ti and the gun is fine with +P, but the shooter may not be. Some hot loads can be pretty "snappy".

I called S&W on this topic a while back. They wouldn't confirm or deny. Simply stated that the gun is safe for the cartridge it's made for. A lot of factory ammo doesn't perform well in the short barrel. Speer GDSBs perform as advertised, and are plenty for self defense. Recoil is a factor. I handload 200lswc at a clocked 900fps. Easy to shoot, and I don't feel at all under-gunned.
