I am not sure if this belongs on the rifle side or not, MODS, you decide.

I am looking for a mount to put an SBR 870 under my SP1 colt. I believe that there was a mount out there, but found nothing on line.

Deer Hunter, that was what I was thinking. Kind of a multi purpose HD weapon. I usually just rely on my HK 40 pistol and I have a Benelli as well locked in the closet. What got me thinking about this is years ago I bought an m203 wannabe 37 mm flare luncher and have never used it. One of those "just have to haves" Well, I remember seeing this 12 gauge undermount somewhere and got to thinking it would make a good SHTF attachment to my AR.

You seem to think it a bad idea for HD...I probably do too since it would be larger than my Benelli or 40, and cumbersome too, but what are your thoughts?

Remington has a mount for their 870 weapon system. knight makes the original. Once you bolt it to the AR, and get the right size barrel, it becomes a SBS. So theres a 200 dollar tax stamp also. It would be cool to have, fun to use once in awhile, but not for anything really serious.

All the weight of a rifle AND a shotgun, with none of the handiness, maneuverability, or usefullness of either...Er.....Please send me your 870 reciever, I promise I'll put it to better use...
