Bought a M39 about 10 yrs ago. Looked like hell when it came it but bore was excellent and all nos. matched. I use a 3X3 inch black square as a target at 100 yds and it will keep all rounds in that square if I'm having a decent day. Use some brass cased Chinese ammo that was literally dirt cheap at that time. Glad I bought 6K rounds of the stuff when it was available.

1 inch groups. VKT and a 1968 Finnish M-39. Glass-bedded and free-floated barrels. Both will do moa with Czech Silver Tip and Polish light ball surplus ammos. Both have Darrell's scout scope mount and I use Tasco Pro-Class 6X pistol scope when shooting.
I'd have a trouble shooting an M-39 like your B barrel. Sooo pretty!

10-12 inches at 100 yards off of a sleeping bag. I can put 3 rounds in under an inch using my enfield and the same rest setup.
I'll be selling my mosin as soon as I can.

My Izzy 91/30 does like 8" groups at 100 yards. :uhoh:
The sights are hard to see, but it makes up for that with a rough, gritty trigger.

I have several Mosins that can hold 3" at 100y from a bench, with milsurp ammo, if I'm having a good vision day.:)
Some others.....well, not so good.
