:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
I am having a continual problem finding a decent Pistol Range / Gun Club in the Lower Hudson Valley Region (N.Westchester/Putnam/Dutchess/Ulster). I need a facility that has the ablility to handle up to 30 students over a six day period (Fri/Sat/Sun x 2 weeks) for NYS Armed Guard Training. I have my own insurance policy and will name the Range / Gun Club as "additionally insured". We have made "gentleman's agreements" with three local "Gun Clubs" in Ulster and Dutchess and had them back out at the very last minute after we ran ads offering training. We are current duty and retired Federal/State/Local L.E.O.'s and hold all of the relevant training certs and titles necessary to run this course (NRA/IALEFI/ILEETA and NYS DCJS / NYS DOS). , we just need a place to teach and shoot! Anyone in a club, or know of one that is looking to help and make some money for their membership ? We are willing to offer free training to club members and assist with licensing as a NYS Certified Armed Guard in exchange if desired. PLEASE PM ME ASAP !

PS: We are also an FFL Dealer if that helps.

Not one of the counties you listed, but Orange is not far from them. Try looking at the link for a list of clubs and ranges in Orange County Ny.

My family used to be involved with the Shawangunk Fish & Game Club and they may help out. Lots of the good old-timers like my grandfather are dead and gone, so I couldn't tell you what the atmosphere is like there anymore. Used to be a great bunch of people.

I used to live in Orange County, try the X-ring, it's an indoor range in Newburgh. Not sure if it even exists anymore. But it would seem to meet your needs best.

COPATCH,

I used to live in Putnam and would shoot at Putnam County Fish and Game. I believe the Putnam Sheriff's dept and the local police department use their facilities for training.

Check out their website,

http://www.pcfga.org/

They are located in Carmel, NY (Putnam County) pretty close to the intersection of routes 684 and 84.

Good luck.

Davis Sport Shop in Sloatsburg runs a large indoor range in Goshen.
Why not give them a call?
PS..what do you charge for the 47 hour class?

Its southern Westchester but did you try the range in Ardsley? Maybe you could work something out afternoons since they close relatively early on the weekends and are closed on Mondays. Maybe you could do sat, sun, mon.
