Anyone suppressed a Marlin 60?

Just asking. The suppressor would seem to interfere with loading the tube magazine.

I don't think it would be very feasible for the exact reason you mentioned. One would have to remove the supressor every reload unless it was specially designed to allow for the cap/rod to be removed.

Maybe that is why everyone does 10/22's?

It could be done, but proving that it could be done is the only good reason I can think of to actually do it. A 10/22 is a much better 22 platform IMO.

The availability of bull barrel stocks for the 10/22 allows classy, very silent, integral suppressor jobs to be done to them as well.

If you really wanted to put a suppressor on a Marlin S/A, there are numerous clip-fed models on the market, and those would definetely be much easier for loading in addition to having the possible potential of using up to 25 round mags.

it wouldnt bee too hard to put a qd mount on the front and be able to use it on the model 60. just a quarter turn and you could pull it off to reload. you could also come up with an asymmetrical design. once you get into the expense of the can and the finer points of making it work and the tax why not just get a 10/22?
