Anybody have one of these? They look so cool. I'd really like one in excellent shape in .22lr. Can't seem to locate one though. They look like fun and are supposedly fairly reliable.

My Uncle still carries a piece of brass in his hand from a .25 Galesi that destructed while he was shooting it . We occasionally have customers wanting to trade one in . Reliability is not one of their selling features .
No flame on your choice . Just past experience .

I just thought it would be a neat fun gun. They look so cool, especially the 50's ones that still have most of their blueing. It can't be much less reliable than a Taurus pt22 or a Beretta 21 :D
Believe me, I would never buy a .25acp.

I had quite a few that I used to buy for around $5 in Indiana several years ago and found them fun to play with. They were better made than the .25 Ravens and were reliable and actually more accurate than the two Beretta BS 950 that I owned over the years.
Nevertheless, I parted with all of them ( a shoebox full) to turn to more serious and higher quality guns.

I bought mine many years ago. A friend who was a dealer bought a drum full of guns at a law enforcement auction and I got a deal on the quantity.
Personally I would not go over $70 for a little toy like that. They are not great for CCW nor are they truly great plinkers. I have a .22 Walther PP ZM and a Beretta M71 in .22 that are much more fun to shoot.
The Beretta should still be available for around $250 and is the most reliable .22 auto I ever owned. On the other hand Ruger .22s can be found used for around $125 too and give real satisfaction at the range.
