Guys. . . I won a Mossberg 500 in .410 bore last night, at a Fire House benefit.
It's new in the box.

I've got a BUNCH of scatterguns and don't really have any use for a .410.



Suggestions?????????????

Donate it to a charity banquet, like Ducks Unlimited, for an auction item. It's proceeds will go to a good cause, and you get the tax credit. Or keep it a year, unfired and give it back to the firemen for next years party.

Buy some of the 3" 5 pellet 000 buckshot and shoot some old junk out in the country with it. If you don't want to keep it after that :( find a kid that wants to learn to shoot and frustrate, errr, teach the kid with it... :)

Try to shoot skeet with it, really challenge yourself!

I shoot skeet with my bolt action .410............not well, but i do do it...haha

i like my .410 because my dad gave it to me, and it seems pretty good for teaching new people firearms basics, getting them used to the sound and feel of shotguns, etc. I had them shoot at milk jugs with water in them for a reactive target.

although shells are going up, might have to get a .22 rifle of my own and use it from now on though.

if you dont want to keep it, put it up for sale here, or donate it to a gun friendly org for an auction item.

You can use it for trading stock for something you want, or you can sell it for cash.

Or just hang onto it for awhile and something will present itself as a good idea of what you could use it for.
