I may, if things go well, be getting a job where I can legally carry on the job, but I would be required to have a tucked in polo shirt.

I find IWB carry more stable and comfortable than pocket carry, although pocket carry is certainly easier and I will explore options there too.

But I'm curious if anyone has found a combination of "tuckable holster" + gun that works. Ideally I'd like to CCW my Colt DS or XD9 SC as a new holster is much cheaper than a new gun, or perhaps even a Glock 19 but I think the last one may be too big.

I've tried smartcarry. It's... it's okay, but it really rides up after a couple of hours and it shifts around uncomfortably.

I carry my XD9SC in a High Noon Split Decision. It is IWB that is tuckable, but I usually carry with my shirt out. I like to option of being able to tuck the shirt if I have to. Cost was about $35.00. Last time I looked, they had them in stock.

I can tuck anywhere any time, or wear shorts, but use a smaller pistol (AMT Backup .45) in a pocket holster. Pants need to have rugged pockets, too, or they quickly wear out. I can walk with my hand in my pocket (combat grip on the .45) and look perfectly natural, should the circumstances arise.

My opinion. Others will differ substantially.
