I'm considering one of these, it appears to be a stainless version of the model 15 the barrel length of this 67 is 4".
I know little about this gun, it's condition is excellent. I don't know if it is +P compatible but it seems like it. Any comments will be appreciated. thanks jj

Not sure about the +P as I usually shoot vanilla .38 in my M-67 but it's a darn nice shooter with good balance. Mine is circa 1986, a 67-1 model. How much is the seller asking and how old is the gun?

The 67 is the stainless version of the 15. They are very good guns and can handle +P ammo just fine. Get one, you'll love it.

I didn't notice if there was dash # behind the 67 :confused: I was suffering from sticker shock the seller was asking $425 :what: and at the time the price seemed to distract me, but while driving home I wondered what would happen if I laid down $350 cash on the counter. I would not buy a new S&W, So when I come across older Smiths in good condition I get excited :D

I agree, but I also realize things aren't what they used to be :( The new S&W mod 67 would cost about $600 I wouldn't give $250 for that piece of cr@p :fire:

I agree with you on that jibjab.

Also thinking about it, I paid $325 plus $25 shipping and another $25 transfer fee, so I am into it for about $375. It is also by far my favorite K-frame. It points, carries, and shoots very well. Mine has turned into my favorite woods gun.

The S&W model 67 is not a piece of crap guy's, come on now tell the truth~!
These are identical to the K frame S&W model 15's, but constructed of stain
less steel with a 4" tube. I had an early one myself, that I turned over for a
6" blued Colt Python. Ooooo wee, now I don't have either~! :eek: I think
$275 isn't a bad price for a 98 per center (S&W model 67). ;):D
