Been eying this one at academy lately. Its $329 with adj. sights.

I think the model number is 927. I already have an early model Rossi snub nose and it functions great.

Anyone have any experience with this gun? My friend is getting into shooting and we were going to go pick him up a shotgun since hes moving back to dallas in his own apt. but when i pointed this out he loved it.

Recoil is supposed to be more forgiving in a longer barrel (6in vs the snub) right?

Only small problem was that the grip was a bit small, looking for hogues right now or something. cant find an exact match so if anyone knows what grips will also fit this gun, thatd be great info.

does this safariland speedloader work with the gun?

or do i have to go HKS?

I used the HKS for the K frame Smith, but I see no reason a safariland for a K frame wouldn't work better. I use a safariland J frame for my Taurus 85, works great. I quite prefer safariland speedloaders. The comp 1, I think it is, the smallest one, is smaller and easier to pocket than a HKS, too.
