I want to take my rock island back to GI specs and the only mod is crimson trace grips. I don't use them as much as I thought I would. If I sold them how much are they worth?

Just curious, have you tried just shooting the Rock with the CT grips as the only sight? Kinda like point shooting with both eyes open? The reason I ask is that I have the CT on my Rock milspec and just playing with the grips has opened up a whole new level of fun and accuracy. My 50 year old eyes hated the tiny milspec sights. Chuck.

I plan to buy a new non-milspec 1911 so I thought it would be cool to have this one totally milspec. I still have my youthful (24 on friday) good eyesight and enjoy the milspec sights, maybee more for the history of it then anything else. I picked my rock up with the grips as a package deal so I didn't buy just them.
