People who have to wait for 7 days to buy a gun often get killed because someone is stalking them or threatening them and they need a gun ASAP.
Waiting periods increase crime.

Oh, and I suggest you re-read U.S. vs. Miller. The Constitution doesn't GRANT me the right to own a gun. It RECOGNISES that right.
