Knowing where you're located would help; I just picked up an unfired (no box.. rat) 4" Model 48 for $450.00. Now remember that is a California price, which tends to be at least $100 more than the rest of the country.

I'm not selling it, I was interested it buying it myself. However, for what the current owner is asking ($750 firm, in cash), I'll just keep waiting. I actually offered him a trade worth more than that (two guns I'm not doing anything with), but he didn't bite. So it goes, I'll find one eventually.
