Does anybody have any suggestions on where to go to talk about legal issues and politics pertaining directly to RKBA and civil liberties :confused: Please PM me if you do. Thank you! These issues are very very important to me and require discuss on a regular basis; I don't want to hold out until that section is opened here.

I guess I am part of the cesspool "crowd" that is being weeded out :scrutiny: We don't accpet the idea that certain guns should be banned because of what a few criminal will do with them yet we shut down the heart and soul of this message board using the same backwards reasoning :banghead:

Oh there are some places one can go, but they are private.

Some used to be Public, but folks quit being civil and polite.
Then trolls would register and get all sorts of stuff stirred up, just to rile folks, and then use the posts against different groups - like gun owners.

Folks teach folks how to treat them - anon

So it became apparent folks could not be civil, polite, and self police themselves.


If it were left up to me - I would make any L&P, S&T sub-forum on this site private and one would have to be spoken for, vouched for, or have a preceptor.

THR bore out of TFL that raised the bar for Internet Forums, and personally, I do not appreciate some folks trying to tarnish THR/TFL and NOT working to continue raising the bar.

Lock Happy Mods sound pretty good compared to me now don't they?

Well, a great way to ensure that the mods open up a legal forum is too insult them. Generally, whenever I want something, I find that telling the people I want it from that they suck (directly or otherwise) is the best method.

Dude, don't forget to look at the "activism" forum here. It will have all the RKBA issues that you could ever dream of discussing. Civil liberties, on the other hand, are not necessarily a part of a gun forum. I know, the two sort of go hand in hand, but the fact is that THR is a gun forum, not a forum to discuss Ron Paul, immigration, federal tax policy, conspiracy theories or anything else. Anyway, my point is that if you want to discuss 2A issues, "Activism" should satisfy your needs.
