Need recommendations for this bullet. I normally use the Lasercast bullet but my normal sources (Midway and Cabelas) are back ordered. Dillon seems to have them in stock but they want more than I normally pay at the other places. I'm contemplating buying the Hard Cast lead ones offered at Dillon but am hesitant to buy an unknown bullet. Has anyone used the ones they list?

Any other suggestions. I'd like to keep it under $90 including shipping. Opinions about the Precision Bullets 200gr SWC?

Here's what I use. 78.95 for 1000 and that includes shipping. I usually get the mini case of 1800 for 132.95 shipped and it comes in a surplus ammo can.

$58.00 per 1000 and less than $10 shipping via USPS

I bought these several mopnths ago and just got around to trying them and they're graet bullets.

Penn Bullet has a number of different cast boolits. I recently bought some 45 acr 200 gr SWCs, haven't gotten to loading them up yet but they were about $60/1000 plus about $10 shipping.

Google "Penn Bullet" and good luck.

but I hadn't bought bullets for ten years or so while I was 'away' from reloading.

Recently, I have bought .38/357 140-gr. bullets from CheyCast and from Mastercastbullets.com (Mike). The order I got from each were cast from an identical mold. Mastercast's appeared to be slightly harder and there were less mold lines. However, this is at the level of nits off the nuts of gnats. Both shoot equally well, and I would order from either one.

Here's the links--

One final comment--the prices on Mastercastbullet's site are not up to date, and Chey Cast may be behind, too. (Having been an online VAR with a simpler site, I can appreciate the problems in updating.)

The bottom line is, both are honest and provide good service with a good product.
