Birdshead Grips on .22 Single Six ?

Can it be done with the grips from their .32 frame? Are the frames the same size? Please keep in mind that I've never even seen, let alone handled any of their .32's. Was wondering if a BHG frame would fit one of their .22 Single-Sixes?
May everyone have a great weekend!

Should fit right up for you, the .32's are the same frame as the Single-Six.

Yup, it'll work no problem.
You can also use brass or steel MKTech grip frames from Brownells - these are cheaper than Ruger parts, just as good, and the brass is exceptionally easy to fit with hand tools.

I always wanted a BHG revolver, but just a plinker, nothing heavy. I've got enough heavy calibers, just wanted to expand in the fun area. And how much more fun can you go than .22's ?
Have a fantastic weekend!

Here are my .32s - I added the Bisley hammer and did the 'poor-man's' free-spin mod to it, as well. The black Micarta BHG panels are the same as those on my SS .45 BHG Vaquero, but slightly different from my QPR BHG frame at the bottom. I included it to show you what an aftermarket QPR raw gripframe can look like after being carefully fitted to an existing frame. The SBH was bought new for that 'transition' - and is fun with .44 Russians and Specials, and 'interesting' with even mediocre Magnums. Incidently, the SSM was bought NIB - and the 4" SP101 LNIB - they were challenges due to the QC issues.

I tried two existing BHG frames from my Vaqueros on the SBH - it was too thin on one frame side/too thick on the other - a problem only fixable by using an 'in-the-raw' BHG frame - like the QPR.

The Ruger gripframes will fit any of the single action cylinder frames. Slight fitting may be needed but they'll fit right up. Bought one from Ruger a while ago for an upcoming project. ;)
