any way the reason i found this thread is because i want to know how good they are any one own one/shot one in .308 ???

im thinking of doing a bit of long range shooting and want a rifle that is half decent straight up and if i stick with it (i have a short attention span) build it up i was going to go rem 700 and build from there but these are comparable in price however i havn't used one before and don't know anyone with one.

so whats the verdict??

and before you start with the "try the search function" i have .. you seen how many results that gets like i said i have a short attention span
