I'll vote for the PBR XP. It's an SPR in a Hogue stock and without the chrome bore but otherwise identical. Some of us like that big non-rotaing extractor and fixed ejector, plus CRF. I bought mine for $699 from Ray Tanner before the price jump. Now they run about $1000 unless you find a deal.

I've never been able to warm up to the Savage, although they are very good shooters. FN and Savage are in very different price categories.

(Yes, i know the serial number is legible. I no longer own this rifle.)
