Tripp was the only chrome plater that I'd never heard a single complaint about. All the others have varying amounts of horror stories to be found.

I think I'm jinxed!
I really wanted to have a Ruger SP101 that had been worked over by Jack Weigand. Got my SP but about the time I did Weigand quit doing revolver work.
Then I bought a Kimber Custom with plans to have it hardchromed by Tripp. Guess What?

I almost started the same thread.

I shipped a revolver to him just today! I had a 686 Plus that didn't have any unique characteristic (not like my 625PC, M19, other blued guns, etc.) and I wanted it to feel special too. So it's getting Cobrachromed!
