I'm looking at the Shrike 5.56, but I don't know which would be better for it, the AR15, the M16 or the M4. Can you all help me out?

This is the belt fed upper ?
Let me put it this way, who wants a belt fed semi-auto ?
No point in an M4, once you take the upper off it is just another M16 with a collapsable stock.

So you're saying that I should go with the AR15?

No, I am saying that is you are going belt fed you need to get a full auto lower; M16

I have a family member who has shot these numerous times and either has his own now or it is on it's way. This family member uses it on a full auto lower but has said it is quite a blast even in semi auto form.
Apparently it is the best of the breed.
Personally semi auto or not, I have this dream to show up with one on hunter sight in day at the wildlife preserve and just start unpacking and setting up right in the middle of everybody. Laying my belts out nice and neatly and just calmly going about my business. I would love to have somebody taping the faces of everybody around me.

Get the full auto lower and give us a range report when you get it. Been talking myself into one for a while now. One more good shove and I'll have to cough up the money. :)
