our range was limited to 50 feet and 25 yards due to brush and our targets were informal in the extreme. Most fun was a Birchwood casey spinner with a 4" circle on top and a 6" on the bottom I tried as hard as i could to miss the small flipper at 50 feet and couldn't. Went back to 25 yards and tried to miss it again. -again failing miserably. This was the standout handgun of the session:
Which is not too surprising because the rest of the selection consisted of SIG Semi-autos and a cap and ball. Everybody knows that a semi-auto is not as good as a single action revolver.

Hmmm... were there any semi-autos there with 8" barrels?

just a little outrageous hyperbole to cheer up revolver shooters there.
