I have pretty much zero experience with archery, other than shooting a bow once in a while ages ago at the local sportsman's club. I need to get a bow type weapon so I can hunt in a suburban area with friends this hunting season and I am looking for any advice I can get. I'm leaning towards a crossbow instead of a bow mostly because of the rifle type feel which I prefer. I'm also exited I now have another excuse to buy new gear :D. So where do I start.

You can use 125-200-lb draw weight crossbows during firearms season. Google PGC website for more details.
