But I (and others in the past) have suggested a dedicated CHL/CCW forum here on THR: http://tinyurl.com/g1mt

Thought I'd take a little poll of the THR readership to see who might be interested in such a forum. So here it is!

I think the existing forums provide sufficient venue for discussion of this subject. The "Handguns:General discussion" looks like the place. There is nothing magical, or so unique to carrying a handgun that a special forum for that subject is needed.

Pretty much with Mannlicher here ....... ''General'' manages to host a plethora of wide ranging subjects and I think CCW can easily be contained within that. Frequently the subject lines make some ref to CCW and so can often be spotted anyways.

Also, from a search POV .. the keyword 'CCW' will usually bring up what one might be seeking.

CCW law and stuff can be covered in L&P, techniques & equipment can be covered in the handgun forums and accessories, tactics and scenarios in the tactics forum....IMO it's fine the way it is :)

Some other forums out there have WAAAYYY too many rooms.

If you start up a dedicated CCW forum, The High Road will happily support it by floating a link in the GenDisc forum to let everyone know about it. :)

FWIW GlockTalk.com has one, and it seems real popular. Gun-Talk.com also has one. IMHO, I think one added to THR would be a good thing.

Yeah, no kidding, though, going thru all those fora (forums?? forii??) can be a real pain on some of those boards. Like government and churches. Starts off good and small, bloat bloat bloat, fizzle. :(
