Is it possible to edit a previous post?

For instance if one were selling a gun, and it sold,
to go back to the original post and indicate the gun
was sold?

If it isn't possible, was this post editied by a moderator?

... Stephen. I'm amazed at how (relatively) cheap hicap mags are for this gun, I should have dusted this thing off a long time ago.

-edit: to spell your name correctly.

Doc - I assume you are asking if you can edit your own posts. Take a look at the line immediately following the content of the post you want to edit. It begins with the date of the post and ends with a button cryptically called "Edit". Push it and enjoy.
:)

[Added thought on the subject]
There is a time limit on how long you have the ability to edit a post. Currently the limit is 4 days. If you have a real need to edit a post beyond the cutoff time, simply email or PM a moderator. We would be happy to do the task for you if the request is reasonable.

The time limit is installed so that someone can't go back months and years later and change the flow or meaning of a thread. We figure that if it isn't worded right after 4 days, it never will be.
