Does it have data for their 135 grain Gold Dot for .38/.357? Mine (#13) does not. Go figure. It has 125 Gold Dots and 140 JHPs, IIRC. Not close. I don't want to order one if it is just a rehash of mine with no additional listings.

Thanks.

I just bought mine several weeks ago and I checked it for your information. It does list the 135 gr GD bullet under 38 spl +P loads and under 357 mag loads for both regular and short barreled revolvers. Overall the new Speer #14 Manual is done very well in my opinion.

Not to say "I told you so" but...Up until #14 was published, they put the data on their website for all to see. Now that it's out, I see that they've pulled it. I own #14 now but I had printed it when it was out. Maybe you could give them a call or send them the $$ for a new book.

Is Speer #14 better or worst than Speer #13?

It's better in that some new cartridges are listed. Speer also publishes some unique loads at times.

What I don't like about it is their 460 S&W data. They list some pretty anemic loads for some bullets saying the bullets shouldn't be driven any faster. In my opinion, if their bullets aren't suitable for full house 460 S&W loads, they should save themselves the trouble of advertising them for this use.

they don't have any data for 7.5 Swiss. I don't know why, it is a very popular import rifle...

The other books do include that caliber... Lee, Hornady, Accurate, and others.

I haven't bought a speer book since #12.

Thanks to all for the info. I've had the 135s for some time but just haven't gotten around to loading them. Too many other projects. I went to their web site recently, but I guess after #14 had been published. If the 135 info had been there, I should have checked sooner.

I'll shell out for the manual.
