What's your weaponlight of choice? How's it set up?

I have a Streamlight TLR-1, but I don't have a railed pistol yet:D Not like anyone here has ever had accessories & no gun to put them on:p

Just picked up a light clamp for my 870HD and also a Surefire G2. That combo will be tried out soon.

Brinkmann Maxfire LX (http://www.flashlightreviews.com/reviews/brinkmann_maxfirelx.htm) clamped to a Winchester 1300 Defender. Simple, rugged, very easy to operate and no cords to get hung up on anything. Best setup I've found for someone on a smaller budget.

Surefire is going to release soon the X300 which uses a cree diode.

That probably will be the ultimate pistol light

cheers

Streamlight TL2. No rails for me, I just pack a light foreward of my reload.

I have seen the light laser combos from other manufacturers. The surefire one should be interesting. Price right now online (LaPolice gear says available September) is LESS the the x200 for the light only version.

Any idea why?

Any comments on the light laser combo?

As useful as it sounds or not practical?

Do these things detach for double duty?

$250 is a lot to pay for something that might just sit in a safe and (hopefully) never be used . . . .
