Tonight I shot my Ruger MkII .22 in our club's BE match. A couple of weeks ago I managed to finally break 800 with an 823- I don't remember how many Xs. Tonight I proved it wasn't a fluke. I shot an 824 21-X. I almost shot a clean on timed fire with 8- 10s but pulled 2 rounds barely into the 9-ring.
I shot a 91, 87 and an 82 at 50 yards, then mid to high 90s at 25 in timed and rapid fire.
I had a good match.

We're shooting just about 91%. Although our league is indoor 50'. I shot a best of 568 in a 600 match last season, but my average scores are closer to 550. I hope to improve upon that this season.
My rimfire scores are higher outdoor with 25yd, slow, timed and Duello rapid fire. 475/500
Tstar77 and I recently purchased a case of target ammo that we're dieing to test and be ready for our winter league to start. He's just about to order a set of nice BE grips for his MKII.

I had a friend tell me about Wolf Match .22lr ammo. He swore it was more accurate than the lapua he tried- a lot more accurate. I will be trying some when I can. Until then the Winchester Super-X is doing fine.

There's a Bullseye match at Carrollton this Sunday, Sept. 2nd. Even if you can't shoot, stop by. We'll be there from about 8:30 until 3:30.

I sent you a PM but just in case someone else wants the info:
The Dallas Pistol Club is actually in Carrollton just off Beltline Road. The address is 1830 Belt Line RD., one mile west of I-35E. Take first right turnout West of Luna RD. Drive under RR track.
They hold Bullseye matches the first Sunday of every month except for June, which is the state match and in July, since a lot of the guys go to Perry.
First shot down range is at 9:00. I usually try and get there by 8:30. We usually have a 10 minute sighter period before the match starts. Fee is $20 for the entire 2700. They host the State Match the first weekend in June every year. The State Match includes an EIC pistol Leg and an NRA Distinguished Revolver match plus team matches.
