Just what it says. Post yours and why you like it/them.

Curious because so many people poo-poo the objections over Unique (even the new version) being "dirty" and not uniform in charge weight because it just WORKS. Wanna hear actual experiences...

Thanks!

6.5 grain with 158 grain RNFP from Mieser bullet. I can not really tell if it is dirty or not because I only use Unique and Power pistol for .357 the only thing I don't like about Unique is the unburn flake .The unburn flake got into nook and crannie of my revolvers and all over the shooting table. I shoot them in my Dan Wesson , S&W 686 and Rossie Puma ,it work just fine for me :)

(by memory) about 8.5 gr Unique with 125 plated HPs or RNs.

I like Unique ok but am switching to W231. In my experience the W231 isn't any cleaner really than Unique, but I kind of think it does meter more consistently for me. I still have about a pound of Unique left that I'll use someday.

7.5 grains of Unique under a 158 gr XTP is one of the most accurate loads in my GP100.

I find Unique to be a good, flexible powder and use it for mid-range loads in my .44's as well.

Ditto on the 8.5 and 125 gr HP's. Very accurate and mild, shoot great in my .357 Carbine.

7 gr of Unique and a 150-158 gr.cast bullet is my "use all the time" load for my 357's. Get 1000 rounds out of a pound of powder and great results with this load. Works well on pins or any thing else you want to shoot with a 357, even Deer! :)

9 grains of Unique behind a Remington 125 grain semi jacketed hollow points, has been an excellent load for me. These chrono right at 1350 fps and they will punch one ragged hole with my Taurus Tracker 357.

I've also loaded some 158 grain Ranier's with 7 grains of Unique, I agree, its an excellent load also. These chrono'd 1050 fps and were very accurate.

Wow, excellent input! Thank you!

As another favor--those of you who posted velocities, could you please update with barrel length and what primer you used? IME, Winchester WSPs are good for about 30 fps more than CCI 500s.

I'm looking into standardizing on Unique so I can stop stocking Magnum primers...trying to keep it simple..er....simpler.

Carbine bbl 18.5" Shot 38s in 6.5" Ruger and they were 860 fps. Win reg small pistol primers. The carbine seems to add 2-300 fps over the pistol, with the slower the powder, the bigger the gain. I did'nt try that 357 load in the Ruger.
