The department will also trade-in 27 of its old guns for $9,875.
That's $365 each for 10 year old H&K's. Sounds like the department negotiated well. The distributor who made the sale won't be making a ton of money on those H&K's.

Except that H&K pistols aren't on the AG's precious "list," making an H&K pistol manufactured before October 1998 the only H&K pistol you can buy in Mass. They will sell, and quickly.
