Was out at the range yesterday with a friend to test his new Kahr P40. He had a few problems with the magazine ejecting during recoil. The mag release is fairly soft on the P40 and very close to the strong hand thumb position. It appears that recoil is enough to drive the release into the thumb and cause a release. Not a good thing for a carry weapon.

Anybody else out there with a similar experience with the P40 or anybody that has replaced the release spring with a stiffer variety?
