...upon me and sent me their blessings. In other words, today was a great day, and it is nice to be in the right place at the right time (and that goes both for yesterday and today). While at the range for quarterly qualification yesterday, someone else who was there asked me if I could use some 7.62x25 ammo. I said sure! I explained that while I don’t currently own anything that shoots this ammunition, I have been pondering the purchase of a CZ-52. He said he had some ammo for me. Today, when I ran into the same person again, by which time I had forgotten all about the ammo, he asked me if I still wanted it! My answer: 'Sure I do!' What a coincidence, I now have 700 rounds of Winchester 7.62x25 Tokarev, 85 gr., FMJ - I guess it would pay to buy the pistol with which to shoot it.

Yes it was a bit of luck for sure. I sent him an email before I left work asking if the guy from whom he got the amo has any of the guns that shoot that stuff for sale. I hope to find out next week.

I may post some of this for sale at a local range, and see how I do. If I sell what I do not anticipate needing, it would probably be more than enough for a CZ52 or a Tokarev pistol, and I hope for a bottle of whiskey for the guy who gave it to me. I figure with hunting season coming up, the .32 Win. Special rounds may go, if I can find someone with a rifle in that caliber. The 45 Colt so be fairly easy to sell. I'll sell the full boxes and give the guy a bonus of the partial ones. The 16 gauge should also be easy to sell. Sorry but I am not about to sell this over the Internet, just too much of a hassle with shipping and all.
