Age of a Euroarm?

How old could a Euroarms 1851 Navy Model 36 be? A friend has one that he said he got 'years ago', and we are wondering the age. I know it isn't from the 1800's, I'm guessing 1970's?

look it up the date code is stamped right on it for the EXACT year and early ons include the month
