Airsoft 1911 to augment 1911 proficiency?

Perhaps this has been covered here or at TFL, but I'll ask just the same for posterity (and fresh opinions).

I've been so overwhelmingly pleased with the KWA M11A1 Airsoft that I recently purchased, that I have been tossing around the idea of purchasing another gas gun.

The model in question is a 1911 blowback (something utilizing a "hardkick" system). Supposedly, it is identical in weight and ergonomics as a 1911.
The slide, safety, mag release and slide release are all suppose to function as the real deal, so... does it sound logical to use such a fun piece of equipment to augment my regular (albeit anemic) training regiment with my Kimber Custom Classic?

On average, I manage to put 100 rounds a month through my Kimber, and I'm well aware that's substandard for anything approaching serious training. I wonder if training with the Airsoft 1911 around the house (or in the house if I time it right) would enhance my familiarity with the Kimber as far as "handling" is concerned.

Oh, and yes... I in fact do need an excuse to purchase a new "toy".

If it exactly models everything about the 1911 I say go for it. However, if it has a lighter kick than the 1911 than you may find yourself undercompensating when shooting the real deal, and overcompensating when using your new toy.

Well, if you want the best airsoft 1911 out there, Western Arms is the way to go.

Even with the normal kick Gas Blow Backs, they feel like a .22 conversion. My Desert Eagle KWC feels like more kick than my wife's P22, and it weighs more than the P22! Get another one, go ahead...
