Powder Dilemma

After loading up a bunch of small batches and hitting the range this morning, I think I've hit on the best target load for my 9mms. When using 115gr plated cheapos, they seem to prefer 4.2gr of titegroup over just about any charge of Unique. (tested at 5.2, 5.6, and 6.0) as well as heavier loads of titegroup.
The problem is, I never get reloaders headache with the unique, but I do get moderately annoying ones when I handle the Titegroup.
Have you folks had any luck with gloves / ventilation / etc clearing up the headache issue, or should I just lump it and go back to the Unique?

No headache issues with Titegroup. I use it exclusively in my .357mag loads, as its accuracy is unrivaled in my guns. The only exception is W296 for full house.

I've never had a problem with Titegroup. I use mine with a Lil Dandy Powder Measure and ordinary ventilation. Try wearing a mask and open the windows. If it bothers you, by all means don't make yourself sick--there are other great powders that will make good ammo.

Titegroup has a high Nitro content. That may be it. It was discussed in an earlier thread by .41 magnum man. (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=296494&highlight=headache)

I've never had a headache from using Titegroup. Titegroup is about all I use in 9mm.

take aspirin.
I use titegroup all the time, but I've NEVER had this reloader's headache issue that has been talked about so much.
I also smoke while I reload...maybe that makes a difference. I've heard that smokers are less susceptible to inhaled irritants because they're constantly inhaling irritants. ;-)

take aspirinThat's the LAST thing you should take, as it is also a vaso-dialator (sp?). Try Tylenol or Advil generics.
