Is the Galco Royal Guard still around? I was looking for it on Galco's website and couldn't find it listed for my baby Glock...

To those of you who have used the Galco Royal Guard, how would you rate its functionality, quality, and ease of use?

Will it work well with a baby Glock?

How is the Royal Guard holster rated by those of you who have experience with it?

I like it! Nice, snug fit. Covers the trigger guard. Easy to snap on and off as well. I use it on a baby glock as well. (Can't remember the model, it's the .40)

I have a Royal Guard for a Kimber Compact. It is a "good enough" holster, but less than ideal, IMHO. I don't think I would like it for any Glock. The problem is the design, with belt loops on the holster itself. The position of the loops adds more girth than offset belt loops. I don't use it any longer after getting a holster with offset belt loops, a Milt Sparks VM-II.

Chunky Glocks are hard enough to conceal by themselves without adding the width of the loops and snaps. My Glock also ride in a Milt Sparks VM-II. The offset belt loops of the VM-II are ideal for a Glock. I'm sure you can find many other manufacturers with offset loops. I think that is the way to go if you wish to conceal a Glock.

Great holster for a 1911.
Sorry, no experience with a Glock in one, I /we don't use Glocks.

I have one for my Sig, I use it as a pistol sheath. When I carried a lot, that's what I used, for me it was the best holster for the job. Looks dorky though, especially compared to a nice high-rise.

Ok, I received my Galco Royal Guard Friday. After wearing it around for a few days I am happy. It does print somewhat, but not too bad. Comfort is as good as any other holster I have tried. Quality seems top notch as this is a very sturdy holster. The inside of the holster is very smooth so I feel like no harm will come to the gun's finish.

Pics below. Pics aren't that good..... No laughing, none of us are perfect.
