Check out the link in the sticky thread right at the top of this forum called "Pics - posting help ..." Section 18 - Attachments is probably what you're looking for.

What I'm trying to do is attach a pic from my Windows " My Pictures" file. When I try this the posting format won't open the "My Pictures" file? It looks pretty strait forward, you click on the paperclip icon and that should open the file. It wont work. Can anyone help? Thanks, Bidemhi

you must either upload it directly to THR or some other webhosting site. Then you can put it in your post.
