I hope everyone had a wonderfull and safe 4th. Mine was a blast!!:D (sorry had to say it)

While I was preparing for my show for the evenings festivities I was told by the Slingers that I looked like the unabomber. I was in a pair of shorts a tanktop undershirt, I had on a tool belt and work apron. The butt of my kimber was sticking out a bit from behind the apron. I got a kick out of the comment and thought it was quite fitting.

So one of the questions I'd like to ask is...

What was the oddest, most unusual, weirdest etc. outfit that you have worn while carring?

2nd observation. While seting up for the show and later lighting up the sky I pondered on how many individual explosions we set off. I figured it was at least 2000. that didn't include the little stuff either.

2nd question...
What is the most amount of rounds (any type) that you have fired off in a single session. (range, competion, etc.)

That'd be the neoprene bib-overall style waders under a heavy jacket, with a net bag tied around my waist. I was carrying a clam gun in one hand and wearing a Glock 26 on my hip.

Got my limit, too. Washington razor clams, yum!

The oddest clothing I've worn whilst carrying had to have been my renaissance garb:

Black, indigo, and burgundy leather doublet, with silver trim.
Black suede sleeves with red silk linings.
Black leather breeches.
Burgundy and black leather above-the-knee boots, with spurs.
Main gauche in my left boot.
Burgundy and black leather gloves.
Black felt hat with ostrich, peacock, and pheasant feathers.
Rapier in a black leather sheath, on a baldric and frog.
Ermine skins, pouch, dagger, and tankard, hanging from my belt.

And a KelTec P32 in the belt pouch. :D

I'm not sure what the exact number is but I'd guess around 1000. Those 50 round mags for the Ruger 10/22 are too much fun :D

1999 Christmas, I was playing Santa for The Wife's headstart center. So here I am, driving around town, full Santa garb, and a Keltec P-11 on my waist.

"Come sit on Santa's lap and tell him want you want. Not on that side honey, you're obstructing Santa's quick draw."

In answer to the second question, with the same P-11 my son and I ran thru a whole case (1000 rds) of south african ammo. Granted, I didn't shoot the whole 1000 by myself, but my hand sure felt like I did.
