Does anyone know the material used for the triggers?
They appear to have a brass-like or dull pewter finish.
I assumed they were steel, but maybe I'm wrong.

I don't know, but mine look like steel. I know it's a fine shootin' gun, regardless, but I'm sure it's steel, looks it. I folded a couple of limits of dove last weekend with it. It was AWEsome! I had it choked IC/Full. Boy, that full is tight, reachs OUT there. The IC is absolute DEATH inside 30 yards. Don't let those little 20" tubes fool you, this is a heckuva hunting gun as well as defense and cowboy games. Mine's a 20 gauge, love it! Neat thing is, it comes apart and stashes in my GoldWings's saddle bags. :D I've got an auto, a pump, another side by side in 12 gauge, and a single shot, all in 12 gauge except for the single shot which is a 16, but I just LOVE this little 20 for dove and upland game birds.
