Need some help here, guys and gals. It seems that NYS will make me wait six months for a permit to have my revolver from MD. I can find no citations on laws governing restrictions or permits for either shotguns or rifles. Are there any NY THR'ers who can give me the skinny on how long I'd have to wait to secure a shotgun to defend my home while I wait for the grist mill of NY bureaucracy to grind out a pistol permit?
