Elk & Deer round for M1A

Can anyone recommend a good commercial round for hunting elk with a M1A?

I don't hunt with my M1A anymore, but I had good luck on deer with Winchester Ballistic Silvertips. They feed reliably, with less risk of nose deformation. The 168 gr. rounds are also the most accurate commercial cartridges I've fired in my rifle (never tried match ammo, etc.).

Game King ougtta work fine, but the Barnes X might be better!

Federal premium 165gr (that uses the sierra 165gr game king soft point spitzer boat tail, closest game cartridge in ballistics to 168 gr palma match)
