I have recently won a 870 20 ga NWTF edition. It has only had maybe 2 boxes of skeet loads through it and now after firing, the fresh, full shell is not going to the chamber, when the slide is operated. The new shell is ejecting out the bottom.

Sounds to me like the action is out of time. By that I mean the lifter is rising up before the shell leaves the magazine thus dumping the shell out the bottom of the action. First thing I'd suggest is good strip down and cleaning. That allows you to check the whole innards of the receiver out. The lifter is part of the trigger group and comes out with it. If a good cleaning doesn't cure it, send it back to remington. It's under warranty isn't it?

Thanks Sparky, I'll give it a try. Anyone else have anything or agree.

One other thing..and I don't mean to be insulting at all... make sure you aren't "short stroking" the action when shooting. That will dump loaded shells out of the loading port also. I promise you!!! LOL!!
